The Tatton Hill Academy is a large sized Primary School with Early Years Provision. Due to its geographic location, it has struggled to fill staff vacancies in the last few years.

Consequently, the Head Teacher believes there is a 60% chance that the Academy will have difficulty in attracting and recruiting permanent teaching staff in the next academic year. The estimated cost of recruiting six teaching staff is £7,200 if advertising or £33,600 if agencies have to be used.

However, an HR Director has recently joined the Governing Body and is helping the Senior Leadership Team formulate an HR Recruitment and Retention Strategy, which is expected to address some of the key issues.
